Simon Property Group is expanding Orlando Premium Outlets

Simon Property Group is expanding Orlando Premium Outlets – Vineland Ave.

The outlet center will add 80,000 square feet, bringing the center to 630,000 square feet.
It’s too early to say what stores will get added, since the mall has not yet leased space. Not only will new stores open, but existing ones can expand, said Michele Rothstein, a spokeswoman for Simon’s outlet division. “You’re going to see a little bit of musical chairs going on” as stores move around, she said.           Construction will begin sometime next year.
Simon is expanding three other centers – Desert Hills Premium Outlets in Cabazon, Calif.; Chicago Premium Outlets and Seattle Premium Outlets.
With annual sales exceeding $1,300 a square foot, Orlando Premium Outlets has continued to thrive despite the difficult economy. In 2008, the outlet center completed an expansion project that added 40 new stores in 114,000 square feet of space on its east side.
Simon last year took over the old Prime Outlets – Orlando on International Drive, renaming it Orlando Premium Outlets – International Dr.
Millenia mall changes
Z Gallerie recently moved out of Mall at Millenia and into a nearby shopping center. Meanwhile, the mall is getting some new tenants. Henri Bendel, an accessories store, will open in the old Nine West that closed earlier this year. Art of Shaving, a barbershop that sells men’s shaving products, will open in the old Rocks Fine Jewelry.
Meanwhile, Banana Republic and Gucci are both being renovated.

Legoland Florida construction on track for October opening

Construction is moving ahead briskly in Winter Haven, where the rides and the main castle of Legoland Florida are taking shape on the site of the former Cypress Gardens.

About 500 people are working six days a week to get the park ready for its Oct. 15 opening. From the park’s newly refurbished Island in the Sky, which takes riders 150 feet in the air for a bird’s-eye view of the park, guests on Tuesday morning could already see Castle Hill, several of the park’s roller coasters and an emerging Miniland, which includes a miniature Lego version of the New York City skyline.

“Right now, we’re right on track and ready to open,” said Craig Riebel, the park’s construction manager, who estimated the job is 90 percent complete.

The company said Tuesday that ticket prices, currently selling for a discount, will increase to $75 for an adult and $65 for a child that day the park opens. Until, then, tickets are selling with a $10 discount.

Review Just Received For The Villa

lovely property
Marshall D.
Review Submitted: August 15, 2011 Date of Stay: July 2011
We were more than happy with our stay at this delightful villa.

The house is set in a small, quiet and well maintained residential development, only minutes from a good size Publix, petrol station and pharmacy and a couple of miles from the I4 which gives quick access to all the major theme parks.

The property itself is just as shown in the photos; spotlessly clean and well maintained with all modern amenities. Plenty of room for a family of 4 but would be squeeze for any more than 5/6 people.

The pool area backs onto a main road, so there is occasional traffic noise when relaxing round the pool, but this is a minor quibble.

We would definitely book to stay here again in the future.

Florida Villa With Private Pool

Lake Wilson Preserve has a wonderful Mediterranean atmosphere, located in the heart of Orlando, Florida. The villas in Lake Wilson Preserve are built in a typically Spanish way, with red terracotta roofs and whitewashed walls, giving the whole complex a wonderfully picturesque, peaceful and natural atmosphere, and when you consider the location, just minutes from Orlandos theme parks, there are few places that you can live with more luxury than in a Lake Wilson villa  http://www.floridaluxuryhome.org/

Another Great Review For My Florida Villa

Full Equipped Kitchen

Great villa nice quiet setting close to Disney

We stayed at the villa in Sept 10 for three weeks. We have stayed in another villa in Lake Wilson previously so knew what type of house to expect. The house was perfect it had 4 bedrooms all nice and clean and well maintained, large enough living area and kitchen with separate dining area too. The pictures on the site were all acurate of the decor. The pool area was perfect and not too overlooked (only from next door) as some villas can be. There were some pool toys in the house and also a few beach toys too. We did have contact with the owner prior to travel who was really helpful and replied the same day. Lake Wilson is set in a really quiet community of houses but within a short driving distance to Disney, the 192 and 27. Publix and a few other stores such as CVS etc are only a couple of mins drive away. I would definately recommend this villa and would stay here again. Thanks!

Florida Villa With Private Pool

We had a fabulous time in this beautiful home. The villas was spacious, clean and well equipped. The pool was lovely and the kids enjoyed playing with the pool toys and spent hours in it! The thing that sets the villa apart is its fantastic location, minutes from the I4 interstate but not within hearing distance of the traffic. It was so quick and easy to find all of the parks and even a trip to Busch Gardens near Tampa didn’t feel like it was too far as the villa is on the south side of Orlando. The estate felt well established, well populated and safe and was convenient for the Publix for shopping. The rates were very reasonable too! Thank you for a lovely holiday – we will be back!
